ROKFORM Launches $499.99 Rangefinder 18X
ROKFORM Rangefinder 18X launches at $499.99 with magnetic holding force, smartphone tracking, and 8X to 18X magnification.
ROKFORM has launched the Rangefinder 18X, a golf laser rangefinder designed to stay attached to carts, be located if misplaced, and improve visibility at distance. The $499.99 product combines magnetic holding power with Apple Find My and Google Find Hub compatibility. Its adjustable magnification runs from 8X to 18X, and it measures distances up to 1,200 yards. The rangefinder is available now through ROKFORM’s website.
Magnetic Holding And Tracking
The Rangefinder 18X uses ROKFORM’s MAGMAX™ magnetic technology. The device is intended to remain secured to a golf cart on bumpy paths and rough terrain.
Apple Find My and Google Find Hub compatibility let golfers locate a misplaced rangefinder with a smartphone, including from miles away.
Jeff Whitten, CEO at ROKFORM, said:
“We spent two years developing the Rangefinder 18X, and I personally lost two expensive rangefinders we purchased during testing. The reality is, when you leave a nice rangefinder behind, there's a good chance you're not getting it back. We wanted to solve that problem with incredibly strong magnets and built-in tracking. We also wanted more magnification because I like knowing exactly where the flag is, and being able to spot my bad shots is also a great bonus.”
Optics And Course Features
The rangefinder vibrates when it locks onto a flag and includes a slope switch that can be disabled for tournament play. Its 16.2-ounce weight favors optics, magnetic strength, and rugged construction over minimum size and weight.
An IP54-rated housing provides protection against dust and rain. Instead of rechargeable power, the device uses a replaceable CR2 battery that golfers can swap during a round.
