Vision Marine Names Rampersaud Nautical Ventures GM
Lakshmi Rampersaud becomes general manager of Nautical Ventures Group, overseeing Florida retail and service operations.
Vision Marine Technologies has appointed Lakshmi Rampersaud general manager of its subsidiary, Nautical Ventures Group. Rampersaud, who joined Nautical Ventures in 2021, will oversee day-to-day execution across the company’s Florida retail and service platform. Her responsibilities cover sales, service, purchasing, inventory management, accounting and customer support. The appointment formalizes a broader operating role developed during Nautical Ventures’ expansion and integration with Vision Marine.
Day To Day Operations
Rampersaud’s previous work at Nautical Ventures has included procurement, inventory planning, supplier relations, international logistics and cross-functional execution. She will work with Maxime Poudrier, chief operating officer of Vision Marine, on departmental accountability, inventory and purchasing coordination, and execution across the Florida platform.

Marine Retail Experience
Rampersaud brings more than 18 years of experience in marine retail, supply-chain management, international logistics and commercial account operations. Before joining Nautical Ventures, she held senior positions with Florida East Coast Railway and ARI Shipping Corporation. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and Marketing from Florida International University, with a concentration in logistics, supply-chain management and operations.
In 2024, Boating Industry named Rampersaud among its Women Making Waves honorees for leadership and contributions to the recreational boating industry.
Florida Platform Alignment
Nautical Ventures offers boats, tenders, yachts, watersports products, marina services and parts through its network of Florida locations. Vision Marine said the appointment supports its integrated operating structure across technology, retail and marine-service activities.
