EFC Breaks Ground on McGregor Manufacturing Hub
EFC McGregor manufacturing facility breaks ground on 195 acres in Texas, with at least 65 full-time jobs planned.

EFC Gases & Advanced Materials has broken ground on an advanced manufacturing facility on 195 acres in McGregor, Texas, with its initial operating phase expected to create at least 65 full-time jobs. The company plans to expand domestic production of high-purity materials used in semiconductor manufacturing through the new manufacturing and distribution hub. The project follows EFC’s acquisition earlier this year by Element Solutions Inc. The campus is intended to give EFC room to add products and capabilities for semiconductor customers in Texas and across the United States.
Texas Manufacturing Base
EFC selected McGregor to locate close to semiconductor customers and fabs in Texas, where the company cited significant existing and planned semiconductor manufacturing capacity. The site will build on EFC’s existing U.S. manufacturing operations while supporting domestic supply chains for critical advanced materials.
The company has positioned the campus as a long-term investment platform, with space to add products and manufacturing capabilities as customer needs change.
Pavel Perlov, President at EFC Gases & Advanced Materials, said:
“This groundbreaking is about much more than constructing a new facility. It is about establishing a long-term home for EFC in Texas and building the capabilities our customers will need for years to come.”
“McGregor gives us the space, infrastructure and location to grow and invest alongside our customers while helping strengthen the domestic supply of materials that are essential to advanced semiconductor manufacturing.”
Jobs And Future Expansion
EFC-McGregor is expected to create a minimum of 65 full-time jobs in its initial phase of operations. The company anticipates further employment growth as the campus expands.
Element Solutions plans to bring additional advanced materials and manufacturing capabilities from across its portfolio to McGregor. The company describes the development as the first phase of a larger Texas footprint intended to support customer roadmaps in the United States.
Ben Gliklich, Chief Executive Officer at Element Solutions, said:
“This project is exactly the type Element Solutions seeks out. We are investing to solve a critical customer pain point in a growth market in partnership with a great community and behind a great leadership team. We acquired EFC specifically because of its ambitious approach and track record of delivering against it. This facility represents the next step on that journey and the first phase in the build-out of a high-value, strategic footprint in Texas. With this project, we are strengthening our foundation to support many years of growth behind our customers strategic roadmaps here in the U.S. This is an exciting milestone but just the beginning.”
McGregor Campus Development
The September 15 groundbreaking brought together EFC and Element Solutions executives with McGregor officials, a Texas state representative and regional economic development representatives. The 195-acre campus is planned to support continued investment in high-purity materials for semiconductor manufacturing.
