Green Water & Power Passes 15,000 EV Chargers

Green Water & Power has installed more than 15,000 EV chargers nationwide and invested over $500,000 in employee training.

Green Water & Power has installed more than 15,000 EV chargers nationwide and employs more than 130 team members. The Los Angeles company manages EV charging projects from design and permitting through construction, maintenance, and operations. Its work includes a 164-charger deployment across seven properties for Rockdyne Ent., LLC. Green Water & Power has also invested more than $500,000 in employee education and development.

Turnkey Charging Projects

Green Water & Power serves businesses, fleets, multifamily properties, schools, nonprofits, public agencies, and communities. The company has partnered with more than 30 utility, state, and incentive programs to help customers reduce project costs and accelerate electrification.

Rockdyne Portfolio Deployment

Rockdyne Ent., LLC used Green Water & Power for a seven-property charging expansion. The project included 164 Level 2 chargers, with Green Water & Power handling design, installation, rebate processing, operations, and maintenance.

Training For Skilled Roles

The company supports more than 130 California residents in roles including electricians, technicians, engineers, project managers, and support staff. Its training investment covers EVITP certification, Registered Service Agent training, OSHA 10 and OSHA 30, forklift certification, electrical apprenticeships, certified electrician exam preparation, and leadership development.

To date, 21 employees have earned EVITP certification and 33 have become Registered Service Agents. Green Water & Power also sponsors registered electrical apprenticeships that combine paid on-the-job training with classroom instruction.

Building Charging Capacity

Green Water & Power’s charging deployment and training program pair project delivery with career advancement for its workforce. The company also has more than 4 MW of solar capacity in its portfolio.
