Takt Raises $9.25M for Warehouse Labor Platform
Takt warehouse labor management platform raises $9.25 million to expand integrations, AI tools, and international operations.

Takt has raised $9.25 million in Series A financing for its warehouse labor management and intelligence platform. Ballast Point Partners led the company’s first institutional round. Takt supports more than 100 warehouses across North America and international markets, including Fortune 500 retailers, global brands, and third-party logistics providers. The funding will support new integrations, AI and automation capabilities, and expansion in the United Kingdom, European Union, and Asia-Pacific.
One View of Warehouse Operations
Warehouse operators often use separate systems for labor performance, automation throughput, and time and attendance. Takt combines data from warehouse management systems, time clocks, robotics, material handling controls, and homegrown applications into a single model measured against engineered labor standards.
Glynn LoPresti, co-founder and CEO at Takt, said:
“Warehouses generate more data than ever, but the people responsible for their performance still struggle to see where operations are going off track in time to change the outcome. That is not a reporting gap. It is a modeling gap. Takt closes it by treating labor, automation and robotics as one operation.”
Reported Customer Results
Kenco deployed Takt across 19 distribution centers as its labor management and warehouse intelligence system. At one single-client CPG site, average cost per pallet fell 15%, equal to $229,000 annually. ODW Logistics replaced a legacy labor management system with Takt and reported a 29% improvement in workforce performance and a 39% increase in employee retention.
Sean Barkman, a Partner at Ballast Point Partners, said:
“The way warehouses run has changed faster than the technology used to measure them, and that gap is what drew us to this category. What stood out about Takt was the evidence. Kenco standardized 19 distribution centers on the platform, plans to extend it to 30 more, and can point to results site by site. Enterprise operators do not expand a deployment at that pace unless the product is working.”
Funding Product Expansion
The Series A will fund integrations with tier-one warehouse management, robotics, and material handling systems. Takt also plans to expand into order orchestration, resource scheduling, and engineering tools. Its planned TaktAI agents are intended to rebalance labor against live order profiles within limits set by supervisors.
A Platform for Shift Decisions
For warehouse operators, Takt’s platform is designed to connect labor plans, goals, incentives, employee coaching, costs, and profitability while work is in progress. The new funding gives the company resources to build on reported customer deployments and support larger international operations.
