Healthy Smart Mart Targets Legacy Office Vending
Zero-cost breakroom upgrades from Healthy Smart Mart replace legacy vending with self-checkout markets for employers and property managers.

Healthy Smart Mart has launched an initiative to replace traditional office vending machines with self-checkout micro-markets across North America. The company says host employers and facilities pay no capital costs, rent, or maintenance fees. The markets stock fresh salads, organic snacks, premium beverages, and gourmet food around the clock. The offer is aimed at commercial property owners, HR leaders, and office park developers adapting breakrooms for hybrid work.
Modernizing Office Breakrooms
Healthy Smart Mart’s micro-markets use glass-front coolers, shelving, and cashless self-checkout kiosks. Employees can review nutrition labels before purchasing products, rather than selecting from a conventional vending machine.
The company positions the format as an amenity for workplaces seeking food options across variable office schedules. Traditional cafeterias can be difficult to operate when attendance changes throughout the week, while a self-service market remains available 24/7.
No Cost For Host Locations
Corporate hosts do not pay installation, rental, maintenance, or capital expenses under the model, the company said. Local Healthy Smart Mart operators install, stock, and service each location.
For property managers, the company says the markets can turn underused breakroom space into an amenity for tenants and employees. For HR teams, the format provides a workplace food option without requiring the company to operate it directly.
Operator Led Market Model
Each breakroom market is run by an independent local operator using Healthy Smart Mart’s business system. The company says it provides operators with technology and a funding program as they build micro-market businesses through corporate locations.
