Heart to Home Meals Signs Dallas Fort Worth Franchise
Heart to Home Meals Dallas Fort Worth franchise agreement brings senior meal delivery to North Texas, with a $40,000 marketing incentive.

Heart to Home Meals USA has signed its first Texas franchise agreement, with a Dallas Fort Worth location expected to open by the end of September. The senior-focused meal delivery business will serve Fort Worth, Dallas, and surrounding North Texas communities with chef-prepared, medically aligned meals. The signing marks the company’s third new market opening in less than 60 days, following August openings in Durham, North Carolina, and Somerset, New Jersey. The Dallas Fort Worth territory is among the brand’s first 10 U.S. franchisees, and its $40,000 franchise fee will be reinvested in local marketing.
A New Texas Territory
The new operation is intended to serve seniors in the southwest corner of Dallas Fort Worth. Its local delivery model pairs meals with trained drivers who check in with customers at each stop, offering franchisees a service centered on regular in-home deliveries and relationships with older residents.
The market has a rapidly expanding older population. Texas Tribune reporting on U.S. Census data found that Texas residents aged 65 and older increased 3.8% from 2023 to 2024, while the state has 5.2 million baby boomers who will reach 65 by 2030. In Dallas Fort Worth, the 65-and-older population rose 15% between 2020 and 2023, compared with a 9.4% national growth rate over the same period.
Chris Webb, President at Heart to Home Meals USA, said:
“Texas has been high on our radar since we began franchising, and Dallas-Fort Worth is exactly the kind of market we've been looking for. The senior population here isn't just large, it's one of the fastest-growing in the country, and families are actively searching for trusted ways to help their loved ones stay independent at home. Entering Texas with a franchise partner who knows this community is a significant milestone for our brand.”
Meals and Local Support
Heart to Home Meals offers more than 150 menu options for a range of dietary needs. The company’s franchisees deliver meals directly into seniors’ homes, with drivers intended to provide a regular point of contact alongside food delivery.
The company is entering a region with notable food insecurity among older residents. The North Texas Food Bank reports that approximately 120,000 Dallas Fort Worth adults aged 60 and older face hunger, up from 97,000 in 2022.
Richard Peroe, Senior Director of Franchise Development at Heart to Home Meals, said:
“We're thrilled to welcome our first Texas franchise partner into the system. The DFW territory gives us a strong foothold into the country's largest and fastest-growing senior markets, and we're excited to see the impact this franchise will have across Fort Worth, Dallas, and the surrounding communities. Opening three new markets in under two months shows just how quickly demand for this model is growing, and we don't expect that pace to slow down.”
What Franchisees Receive
The Dallas Fort Worth operator will receive the company’s founding franchise incentive, which directs the $40,000 franchise fee to local marketing for launch and early growth. The company launched U.S. franchising in 2024 and is seeking further territories in Texas, the Northeast, Mid Atlantic, Florida, and other suburban markets.
Heart to Home Meals is backed by apetito, its parent company, which has operated internationally since 1958 and generates more than $1 billion in annual global sales. Heart to Home Meals operates across seven countries in Europe and North America.
Expansion Plans Continue
For prospective operators, the Texas signing shows how the company is building its U.S. franchise footprint through local territories focused on seniors aging at home. Families in the Dallas Fort Worth service area can expect the new location to open by the end of September.
