Jixingfeng Upgrades Smart Sock Manufacturing
Jixingfeng smart sock manufacturing uses about 570 knitting machines, advanced materials and OEM/ODM services for global clients.

Jixingfeng has begun a comprehensive upgrade of its smart manufacturing infrastructure for high-performance socks. The Foshan, China, manufacturer operates a 19,000-square-meter factory with approximately 570 knitting machines and daily capacity exceeding 170,000 pairs. Its production setup is intended to handle large-volume orders alongside small-batch trial production. Jixingfeng combines specialized production areas, material options and OEM/ODM services for clients in sports, healthcare, outdoor recreation and everyday wear.
Production Built for Flexibility
Founded in 2003, Jixingfeng has developed a production system that connects raw-material blending, knitting and retail packaging. Clients can work with the factory from the product concept stage through design development, sampling and mass production.
The company has divided its factory into specialized production areas so production lines can switch among product categories while maintaining structural integrity and output efficiency. Its quality assurance process covers incoming combed cotton yarn through sealing export cartons suitable for sea transport.
Jixingfeng also uses 360-degree seamless digital printing equipment for complex jacquard patterns and 3D stereoscopic relief designs. The equipment is designed to help maintain a customized sock’s appearance and structure as it moves from sample development to mass production.
Materials and Functional Designs
Jixingfeng offers production and development using cotton, LYCRA®, Lenzing Modal, TANBOOCEL® bamboo fiber, merino wool, recycled eco-friendly yarn, Sorona® bio-based fiber and BASF functional yarn. The company reports large-scale production of socks made with Sorona® bio-based yarn and recycled eco-friendly yarn.
Its product range includes performance, running, basketball, compression, yoga anti-slip, merino wool, antibacterial and deodorizing, and five-toe socks. For sports applications, the company develops products with seamless toe-closing, localized pressure structures, breathable mesh zones and specialized anti-friction structures.
The manufacturer has also begun developing diabetic socks and other functional medical socks for health-related product categories.
Support for Brand Programs
Approximately 60% of Jixingfeng’s products are exported to the United States, Europe and Australia, while the company also serves apparel and footwear brands in China. It supports OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification and has experience with EU textile regulations, product labeling, fiber composition identification and export documentation.
For brands developing custom lines, its services include material selection, pattern design, prototyping, logo embroidery or printing, special color schemes and customized packaging.
Susan Xu, founder of Jixingfeng, said:
“As socks become more specialized, sock manufacturers can no longer limit themselves to traditional production models and need to deeply understand the materials, technologies, and application requirements behind each product. Whether it's for sports, healthcare, outdoor activities, or everyday wear, our goal is to translate these needs into reliable and scalable manufacturing solutions. By strengthening our capabilities in smart manufacturing and material application, we are committed to becoming a more competitive long-term partner for global brands.”
Capacity for Custom Orders
Jixingfeng’s factory capacity and specialized production areas support both large-volume orders and small-batch trial production. Its services cover the manufacturing steps from material selection and product development to custom branding and packaging.
