Lazard Names North America ECM Advisory Head
Lazard equity capital markets advisory expands in North America with Daniel Burton-Morgan in a newly created leadership role.
Lazard has hired Daniel Burton-Morgan as Managing Director and Head of Equity Capital Markets Advisory, North America, in a newly created New York-based role within its Strategic Capital Solutions Group. Burton-Morgan will advise clients on equity capital markets strategy and execution, including initial public offerings, follow-on and secondary offerings, and block trades. The appointment establishes Lazard’s equity capital markets advisory capability across North America alongside its existing European franchise. He brings more than two decades of experience to the position.
New Advisory Role
The role expands Lazard’s capacity to advise boards and management teams on equity capital markets transactions. Its remit covers planning and execution for initial public offerings, follow-on and secondary offerings, and block trades.

Experience in Equity Markets
Before joining Lazard, Burton-Morgan spent his career at Bank of America, most recently as Head of Americas ECM Financial Sponsor Origination. He holds a First-Class degree in Management Science from the University of Warwick.
