Firstline Brands has named NASCAR driver Rajah Caruth its first celebrity brand ambassador for WavEnforcer. The partnership began October 9 at the EcoSave 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Caruth drove the No. 77 Chevy Silverado for Spire Motorsports, with WavEnforcer appearing as an associate sponsor. The companies plan social media content and event activations around WavEnforcer’s 40-year position in men’s grooming.

A New Brand Partnership

The ambassador role connects Caruth’s motorsports profile with WavEnforcer products, including do-rags and boar bristle brushes. The brand’s grooming tools were created for multicultural men and their haircare needs.

Joni Odum, President and CEO at Firstline Brands, said:

“WavEnforcer was the first brand my father Robert A. Bowser created 40 years ago to provide multicultural men with innovative and culturally relevant accessories and tools like do-rags and boar bristle brushes to help them groom and protect their hair and it was those early products that allowed us to become the first Black-owned textured hair accessory manufacturer with national retail distribution.”

Content And Activations

Caruth’s partnership with WavEnforcer began with the Charlotte race and will extend to content and brand activations. Material featuring Caruth is rolling out through @wavenforcer, @firstlinebrands and @rajahcaruth_ on Instagram and TikTok.

Joni Odum, President and CEO at Firstline Brands, said:

“Rajah represents the pioneering spirit and authenticity that define WavEnforcer and we're proud to welcome him to the Firstline family.”

Grooming And Identity

Caruth is currently 12th in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series playoff standings, with eight top 10 finishes, two top five finishes and one pole. He competes for JR Motorsports in the No. 88 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet.

Rajah Caruth, NASCAR driver, said:

“My hair is a huge part of my culture and identity, so proper grooming is essential,” said Rajah Caruth. “WavEnforcer provides me with the products to maintain my style and take care of it while training, traveling, and even just relaxing.”

Firstline Brands said content and brand activations featuring Caruth began October 9, 2026. The company’s correction noted that an earlier version of the announcement included an alternate photo of Caruth.
