TickTalk has launched TickTalk 6, a connected smartwatch for children ages 3 to 12 priced at $169.99. The device combines calling, messaging, location features, and parent controls without games, social media, or open internet access. It also introduces TickTalk Radio, developed with Feed.fm, for parent-controlled music and wellness content. The launch celebrates TickTalk’s 10 years of innovation.

Communication And Parent Controls

TickTalk 6 supports voice calls, FaceTalk video calls, Group Chat, approved-contact SMS, and TickTalkie LTE and Wi-Fi walkie-talkie communication. The redesigned TickTalk App lets parents approve contacts, block unknown callers, set School Mode and Focus settings, schedule reminders, and manage wireless plans and audio preferences.

Ying Gong, CEO at TickTalk Tech, said:

“Parents shouldn't have to choose between keeping their child connected and giving them an entire smartphone ecosystem. TickTalk 6 is our answer to that first-device dilemma. It gives kids more ways to communicate, more tools to build independence and build healthy daily habits, and more age-appropriate experiences, while giving parents meaningful control over who can reach their child, where they are, what they can access, and when.”

Safety And Connectivity Features

The watch includes real-time location tracking, route history, AI SmartPin location learning, SOS calling, and 911 emergency support. It has built-in eSIM activation through TickTalk Wireless, optional global travel coverage across 160+ countries and regions, and free T-Cloud backup for device upgrades and data transfers.

Hardware updates include a 1.6-inch AMOLED display, SignalBooster 2.0 antenna technology, IP68 water resistance, up to 135 hours of standby time, and a washable stretch-fit band. Bands are available in Pacific Teal, Sunshine Yellow, Coral Pink, and Black Sand.

Availability For Families

TickTalk 6 is in stock through myticktalk.com and Walmart. It is rolling out through Amazon, with Best Buy availability planned.
