Temu reports that half of 152 surveyed European sellers increased capacity, hired staff or both after joining its marketplace. Thirty-four percent said they expanded into new international markets, while 75% described Temu as an important additional or primary sales channel. The survey covered sellers in Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Poland and the UK during June and July 2026. Temu’s Local Seller Programme has been open to European businesses since 2024 and now operates in more than 35 markets.

Capacity And Hiring

Recamania, a family-owned spare-parts business in Albacete, Spain, opened its Temu store in March 2025. After receiving 4,000 orders per month through the platform, it expanded its warehouse and administrative teams.

Natalia Collado Castillo, at Recamania, said:

“Temu has impacted the business very positively, without a doubt. It has meant significant growth for Recamania.”

In the UK, Leeds retailer Money Cruncher, which also trades online as Spot On-Line, has fulfilled more than one million orders since joining Temu at the beginning of 2025. The business added more than 20 warehouse roles in the last 18 months.

New Sales Channels

More than four in ten respondents had been trading for over a decade before joining Temu. The survey also found that 38% valued the seller platform’s ease of use, 35% cited its cost structure and more than 65% valued personal or dedicated support.

Ubedia, an ube powder brand based in Aix-en-Provence, France, launched on Temu in September 2025 and sold more than 1,400 packets through organic traffic within weeks. Its founders now work on the business full time, and the company employs six people across production, shipping and marketing.

Mathis Rouchouze, co-founder at Ubedia, said:

“Temu gave us instant visibility. Good reviews brought more exposure, which led to more sales.”

International Expansion

SD Calabria, an Italian specialty food business, used Temu to reach customers across Europe without separate marketing campaigns in each country. Polish electronics distributor Euroelectronics expanded into 18 European markets within weeks of joining, using its existing warehousing operation.

Antonino Quaranta, owner of SD Calabria, said:

“Joining Temu changed everything. Now I see Spanish customer names, German surnames, buyers from the Netherlands, Poland, Austria, Ireland, Denmark, and the Czech Republic. Before, I only saw Italian names. Now it's a completely different picture.”

Seller Support

Temu said its seller support includes onboarding help, fulfillment tools and partnerships with local trade bodies and startup networks. For German manufacturer AMF Creation, the platform provided real-time insights and dedicated seller support as it adjusted its online strategy.

Marcus Fochler, founder at AMF Creation, said:

“Instead of guessing what customers want, we now have data to guide our decisions. If something wasn't working, we could pivot immediately. That kind of flexibility was exactly what we needed.”
