Temu Partners With Danish Startup Group
Temu Danish Startup Group partnership brings Temu into programs and events supporting early-stage entrepreneurs in Denmark.

Global e-commerce platform Temu has partnered with Danish Startup Group to support local founders in Denmark. The agreement brings Temu into DSG programs and events alongside its network of entrepreneurs and companies. Copenhagen-based DSG has supported early-stage entrepreneurs since 2007 through events, workshops, mentorship, and networking. Temu launched in Denmark in 2023 and opened its platform to Danish sellers last year.
Support For Danish Founders
DSG is a volunteer-run nonprofit that connects entrepreneurs across Denmark. The partnership will involve Temu working directly with DSG’s team and its broader founder network.
Tomas Zhang Mathiesen, Founder and CEO at Danish Startup Group, said:
“We are very pleased to welcome TEMU as a member of Danish Startup Group and to see a large, established company taking a genuine interest in Denmark's startup community. Their ambition to invest in innovation and create new value for Danish entrepreneurs, through both their expertise and platform solutions, is exactly the kind of engagement we want to encourage. We're excited to explore the opportunities ahead and look forward to developing the collaboration to benefit our members and ecosystem.”
Seller Access Across Europe
Temu says its Local Seller Programme is open to businesses of all sizes in more than 35 markets, including much of Europe. The company says Danish sellers can use its platform to reach consumers in Denmark and across Europe.
A Kantar Media survey found that more than three in four Nordic respondents believe Temu is driving greater price transparency and competition across the region, while over a third described its impact as significant.
Working With DSG
The partnership gives Temu a role in a Danish founder community that DSG says has engaged hundreds of members and volunteers.
A Temu spokesperson said:
“We're glad to be working with DSG and to take part in a community that's been supporting Danish founders for almost two decades. We look forward to contributing to Denmark's startup scene.”
