ASUS Adds Vera CPU Server for Agentic AI
ASUS XA P2N-E2 is a 2U NVIDIA Vera CPU server for agentic AI workloads, with support for up to two RTX PRO 6000 GPUs.

ASUS has expanded its AI infrastructure portfolio with the XA P2N-E2, a 2U server introduced at OCP Global Summit 2026. Built on NVIDIA MGX architecture and powered by NVIDIA Vera CPUs, the system is designed for agentic AI and reinforcement learning workloads. It supports up to two dual-slot NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs. The server is aimed at execution tasks including code execution, tool use, sandboxing, data processing and orchestration.
A Compact Execution Layer
The XA P2N-E2 pairs high single-thread CPU performance with high-bandwidth, energy-efficient memory to support responsive AI-agent execution and evaluation tasks. Its 2U form factor gives organizations a compact option for combining CPU computing with flexible GPU acceleration.
For businesses building AI systems beyond model training, the product is positioned for the operational work around an AI model, including running tools and processing data.
Rack Scale AI Systems
ASUS also displayed the XA VR721-E3, an ASUS AI POD that integrates 36 NVIDIA Vera CPUs and 72 NVIDIA Rubin GPUs through the NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 platform. The liquid-cooled system is intended for large-scale AI training, post-training and inference.
For a different configuration, the XR R1I12B-M1BHFS combines NVIDIA HGX Rubin NVL8 with direct-to-chip liquid cooling for the GPU baseboard and air cooling for Intel Xeon 6 processors.
Networking And Context Memory
The company’s AI factory portfolio also includes NVIDIA Spectrum-X Spectrum-6 based Ethernet switching, NVIDIA CMX Context Memory Storage Platform and NVIDIA Groq 3 LPX. The systems are intended to address networking, context memory, inference and storage alongside accelerated computing.
ASUS pointed to the NVIDIA DSX reference design and the NVIDIA Omniverse DSX Blueprint for AI Factory Digital Twins as tools for using validated architecture and simulation before deployment.
Intel And AMD Options
The Intel showcase included the ASUS RS700-E12-RS4U and RS720-E12-RS12U, 1U and 2U dual-socket platforms powered by Intel Xeon 6 processors. Their DC-MHS designs, tool-less serviceability, storage options and expansion capacity are intended for agentic AI, virtualization and data-intensive workloads.
On the AMD side, ASUS introduced the RS700A-E14B-R16U with 6th Gen AMD EPYC 9006-series processors, PCIe 6.0 connectivity and support for up to 16 E3.S drives. The company also showed the ESC8000A-E13P for AMD Instinct MI350P PCIe accelerators and the 10U XA AM3A-E13 with eight AMD Instinct MI355X accelerators.
Availability And Deployment Choice
ASUS servers are available worldwide, although individual products and configurations may vary by region. The company directs buyers to local ASUS representatives for availability and configuration information.
