Five Star Franchising has made its sixth appearance on the Inc. 5000 list, ranking No. 1,829 among America’s fastest-growing private companies. The home services franchising platform reported nearly 190% revenue growth over three years. It now has more than 1,700 locations and 1,000 franchise owners across North America. The company also ranked 41st among Utah companies and 21st in the Business Products category.

Portfolio Expansion

The ranking follows the addition of an eighth franchise brand to Five Star Franchising’s portfolio. Its brands include Bio-One, Card My Yard, Decorate With Lights, Five Star Bath Solutions, Five Star Flooring, Gotcha Covered, Mosquito Shield, and 1-800-Packouts.

Scott Abbott, CEO and Co-founder at Five Star Franchising, said:

“Recognition like this is meaningful, but what it really reflects is the success of our franchise owners. We set out to give aspiring business owners a platform where they could truly own their success, and continued recognition like this is a signal that we're delivering on that promise for more owners than ever.”

Younger Franchise Owners

Five Star Franchising reported that half of its applicants in 2026 so far are millennials or Gen Z. The company said younger owners are drawn to recession-resilient opportunities, proven playbooks, and lower barriers to entry.

Scott Abbott, CEO and Co-founder at Five Star Franchising, said:

“We're seeing a real generational shift in who wants to own a business. Younger entrepreneurs are choosing franchising as a way to build something on their own, with a proven playbook behind them. And home services is work that can't be automated or outsourced, which resonates with a generation that wants to build something durable.”

Support For Local Operators

Franchise owners across the platform use a support team, vendor network, in-house marketing services, and ProNexis, a lead management support solution for home service brands. The Inc. 5000 recognition adds to the company’s previous appearances on the list as it expands its network of local operators.
