Fresha reports that its active barber partners grew 108% year over year as the booking software provider expands across the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia and Europe. The company serves independent barbers, barbershops and multi-location operators with tools for bookings, payments, client management, teams, commissions, marketing, reporting and online discovery. Its barber-focused product set includes AI Concierge, which can handle client calls using live business information while staff are serving customers. Fresha is also supporting more than 25 professional hair and selfcare events and activations.

Barber Network Expands

Fresha’s barber customer base includes MENSPIRE, Rascals, Ted’s Grooming Room, Gould Barbers and Blackbox. The company has also added Cal Newsome and Sheldon Edwards, educator and owner of HD CUTZ, to its global ambassador network.

For owner-operators, the platform is intended to support both a single-chair business and larger groups with multiple locations. Fresha says its Professional Profiles, Online Reputation and Smart Website Builder tools can help businesses showcase their work and build an online presence.

Events Across Key Markets

Fresha has a five-year partnership with HairCon Powered by Fresha in the UK and a multi-year exclusive global partnership with HAIRFEST. The company also cited barbering events in Toronto and a broader presence in the United States, alongside activity in London, Manchester, Australia, Bali and Romania.

William Zeqiri, Founder and CEO at Fresha, said:

“Barbering is one of the most entrepreneurial communities within the global selfcare industry, and the growth we're seeing reflects just how quickly these businesses are evolving. We want Fresha to give barbers the infrastructure to build serious, enduring businesses, whether that means running one chair exceptionally well, growing a team, opening multiple locations or building an international brand. Seeing our active barber partners more than double in a year is incredibly exciting, but for us this is only the beginning. We intend to keep investing in the technology, people and communities pushing barbering forward.”

Tools for Daily Operations

One of Fresha’s newer products, AI Concierge, can answer calls while a barber is with a client. The tool can help clients book, reschedule and manage appointments using live business information.

For small firms, the company positions the platform as one system for scheduling, payments and customer management. Larger barbershop groups can use its team, commission and reporting functions to manage operations across locations.

Josh Lamonaca, Co-founder of MENSPIRE Salon and MENSPIRE Academy and Head of Hair Education at Fresha, said:

“Barbering has changed enormously, and the opportunity for the next generation is so much bigger than simply becoming great behind the chair. Barbers are building teams, opening locations, educating internationally and creating brands with global audiences. As those ambitions grow, the systems behind the business become incredibly important. What excites me about Fresha is that it isn't looking at barbering from the outside. It is listening to the people within it and building technology that can grow alongside where we want to take this industry.”

Platform Supports Growing Shops

Fresha says it is used by more than 140,000 partner businesses in over 120 countries. For barbers considering software, its offering combines operational tools with consumer discovery and online reputation features in one platform.
