JunkStart has appointed franchise veteran Bryan Cross as vice president of operations, working with founder Daniel McCarty as the pay-by-weight junk removal franchise expands into new markets. Cross brings more than a decade of franchise development experience and has coached more than 100 franchise owners from launch through growth. The appointment is intended to strengthen the operating systems available to franchise owners. JunkStart serves both residential and commercial customers through a model designed to keep overhead low.

Experience Across Franchise Brands

Cross’s background includes leadership roles at i9 Sports, College HUNKS Hauling Junk & Moving and Lawn Doctor. At JunkStart, his work will focus on the support and systems franchise owners use to operate their businesses.

Bryan Cross, Vice President of Operations at JunkStart, said:

“What stood out to me about JunkStart is that there's a strong business model here, but there's also a real opportunity to help shape how the company grows. My focus is making sure franchise owners have the support and systems they need to run strong businesses without making things more complicated than they need to be.”

Operational Support for Expansion

JunkStart uses a pay-by-weight pricing model rather than volume-based estimates. The company says its onboard scale technology supports transparent, data-driven pricing, while its structure is intended to give franchise owners revenue opportunities across residential and commercial work.

Daniel McCarty, Founder at JunkStart, said:

“We have a lot of momentum right now, and Bryan can help us build the operation to match it. He's spent years helping franchise owners figure out what works and how to improve it. He understands what it takes to grow without losing sight of the people actually running the business.”

What Franchise Prospects Can Do

Business owners interested in the company’s franchise opportunities can find more information through JunkStart’s website. The company was founded in 2022 and is based in San Antonio.
