The SPAM brand has partnered with the Minnesota Vikings to make the SPAM Dog U.S. Bank Stadium’s Official Dog for the 2026-27 season. The agreement brings a season-long lineup of specialty SPAM Dog offerings to Vikings home games, beginning with the SKOL Crusher. Fans can find the featured item at Section 341 and other stadium locations. A pregame SPAM Tailgate will also begin in The Commons on Oct. 4.

Menu Starts With SKOL Crusher

The SKOL Crusher is a Vikings-inspired SPAM Dog topped with hot honey mustard, purple slaw and crispy potato sticks. The menu will later add a Hawaiian-inspired item and limited-time varieties based on visiting teams.

Haley Eggum, brand manager for the SPAM® brand, said:

“Football and food have always gone hand in hand, and we're excited to bring the SPAM® Dog to one of the most passionate fan bases in the NFL. The SKOL Crusher is just the opening kickoff. Throughout the season, fans can look forward to SPAM® Dog creations inspired by teams traveling to Minneapolis, giving them a new way to experience every matchup. It's another example of how we're taking SPAM® products out of the can and into fun, cultural experiences that bring people together.”

Pregame Tailgate Opens Oct. 4

Before each Vikings home game, the SPAM Tailgate in The Commons outside the stadium will offer SPAM Dog samples, prizes and tailgate games before kickoff. The activation gives fans an option to try the product before entering the stadium.

J.P. Paul, vice president of stadium operations for the Vikings, said:

“Our goal is always to make the fan experience as memorable as possible, and partnering with a fellow Minnesota brand helps us do exactly that. From offering the SPAM® Dog in the stadium to the pregame tailgate activation, we're excited to give fans something uniquely Minnesotan to enjoy throughout the season.”

A New Stadium Food Option

For the SPAM brand, the partnership places its products in a live-event setting tied to the Vikings’ home schedule. For the team, it adds rotating food items and a pregame activity built around a Minnesota-based brand. The SKOL Crusher and future SPAM Dog varieties will be available during Vikings home games throughout the 2026-27 season.
